Coach Assisted, Safe Climbing Sessions

Crashpad has a structured indoor climbing experience tailored specifically for Team  Building activities and organised adult groups, such as company events, birthday parties or other celebrations, or just a casual gathering of friends.

The programme is designed to be safe, engaging, and appropriate for different adult sporting capabilities, combining coached instruction with supervised free climbing in a controlled environment.

These sessions are available both in the morning and with a limited capacity evenings and weekends.

Session Structure

Each session is delivered by qualified Crashpad staff and includes all necessary equipment.

1. Welcome & Introduction

  • Safety briefing and facility orientation
  • Introduction to bouldering and basic climbing concepts
  • Shoe fitting and equipment allocation

2. Coached Climbing Session

  • Structured climbing activities led by a Crashpad coach
  • Focus on movement, balance, coordination, and confidence
  • Age-appropriate challenges and group management

3. Supervised Free Climbing

  • Participants climb independently under staff supervision
  • Opportunity to apply skills learned during coaching
  • Flexible, fun, and exploratory climbing time

Pricing

Crashpad has systems and qualified staff in place to handle larger groups of people safely without compromising the quality of the sessions offered.

The pricing depends on the session time and how long the session will take.

Pricing includes:

  • Entry to the facility
  • Climbing shoes
  • Coaching and supervision
  • Full use of climbing areas during the session
  • CLASS / GROUP SIZES

Group Size Requirements

  • Minimum group size: 6 participants
  • Maximum group size: 28 participants

Groups larger than 28 may be accommodated by splitting into multiple sessions. We can also cater for larger group sizes, even 100+ if advance notice is given (2+ weeks), subject to availability

Supervision & Safety

  • All sessions are run by trained Crashpad staff
  • Clear safety rules and continuous supervision are enforced
  • Crashpad operates in line with recognised climbing safety standards

Assumption of Risk documents must be signed by each adult individual (or parent or legal guardian for minites) before can climbing starts. All registration and signing of documents is through our own booking system.

Crashpad has all required public liability insurance as necessary.

To confirm a booking or request additional information, you are encouraged to contact Crashpad directly to discuss scheduling and any specific requirements on [email protected]. For commercial reasons, reservation of slots can be only accepted against a payment on a per slot basis. Crashpad remains committed to develop long-term relationships with our clients, so we will endeavour to accommodate changes on a case by case basis.
