Crashpad is on a fast track!
Within just 12 months, we project €1.5M in annual revenue and operational profitability. Our vision isn’t focused on just numbers.
It’s about creating a destination that fitness enthusiasts love and investors trust. And our initial numbers are extremely encouraging. We have climbers who have returned to indoor bouldering, we are seeing new faces everyday. There is a palpable energy, positive sentiment and excitement in the climbing community.
Our marketing strategy focused on the younger generation and getting off-peak footfall, together with high volumes of visitors via the dedicated kids area ensures a steady revenue stream from the official launch of all amenities planned for January 2025.
With full investor payback expected by 2030, there’s also significant upside potential as the indoor climbing market continues to expand to with a CAGR of the overall climbing gym market at 6.4% (for both sports climbing and indoor bouldering). (Source)
According to the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), bouldering has seen a consistent rise in participation rates, with an estimated 20% year-on-year growth globally over the past five years (Source).

With Malta not offering a good bouldering product until the advent of Crashpad, there was no way to capitilise on this growing trend. Crashpad has been designed from the ground up to offer a facility with complementing activities similar to what is available in most big city gyms in Europe.
And the response on the ground has been amazing. Comments have been overwhelmingly positive, and the numbers from our soft-opening have been what we have anticipated.
This is why it is the right time to become part of the Crashpad crowdfund before it closes on the 14th of December. We don’t anticipate opening other funding rounds, so the time is now.
