As most of you who have visited already during our opening weekend, you’ve seen what we’re bringing to the fitness landscape in Malta.
Your comments so far have been overwhelmingly positive. In concept, the place sounds like a good idea. In person, it’s a whole different level. This is an indoor fitness space unlike any other on the Maltese islands.
“Wow, we no longer need to travel abroad to properly train at a climbing gym”
“This is the size of a big city bouldering gym”
“Well done guys, there is no other fitness space like this in Malta”
These are only a few of the comments we’ve gotten over the last few days.
The momentum for Crashpad has been building for a few months now. We’ve been to Pitch N Go a few months back, where the judging panel of investors all gave the project a thumbs up.

We also showcased Crashpad at Malta’s Startup Festival, attracting strong interest from investors.

And a few weeks ago, when we held an exclusive on-site tour that drew over 100 investors and fitness enthusiasts, we raised €50,000 in a single day!

And when we visited the European Sport Week, with a Slackline which will be part of MiniPad (our dedicated Kids’ area), we couldn’t keep the horde of children back!

We’re now at more than €232,000 in crowdfunding from more than 60 investors. This is a strong testament to the level of interest in the project and the strong belief in its success.
As one of our crowdfunders put it:
“I could never have imagined a project of this scale. Its size, design, and execution make it rare, incomparable, and built to a standard you simply don’t see anywhere else in Malta.“
