We’re crowdfunding for our next big step: launching our indoor climbing and fitness spot in Malta’s Central Business District. The launch date will be announced shortly (so stay tuned) but there are no unexpected delays so far!
Crashpad has already raised €1.3M in investment through various funding channels to be able to build an international-standard climbing facility in Malta.
What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a fully regulated way of raising money by giving people (the crowd) the chance to invest in companies looking for funds.
While there are various ways that crowdfunding works, the main ones are equity-based, where crowdfunding investors get a “slice of the pie” so to speak, with shares matching their investment, or a high-interest loan, where investors get a sweet rate of return on their investment.
The crowdfunding is run by a reputable name in crowdfunding (TokePortal) who have had a history of successful crowdfunding campaigns in other European countries under the regulated ECSPR framework.
Tokeportal is a registered Maltese company and has already been part of several startup events.
Crashpad is the first company to launch a crowdfunding campaign in Malta with TokePortal. Our crowdfunding campaign is equity-based.
How Much Can I Invest?
You can invest as little as a few hundred euro, however, the more you invest, the better investor perks you get access to, including equity bonus for higher tier investments.
